We avoided drinking the local water as instructed only to find our selves eating green mud at a local farmhouse near Lake Titicaca and eating deep fried guinea pig in a lovely restaurant in Puno. | ![]() | ![]() | We chewed coca leaves and drank coca tea to avoid altitude sickness on our way to Colca Canyon. We fled the Canyon under the cover of darkness to avoid a strike and later cheered on the Striking Cab Drivers in Arequipa. | |
