Name: Goku

Race: Saiyan

Abilities: Fly, Dragon Fist, fusion, spirit bomb, jan ken punch,kaioken, kamehameha, kiaiho, oozaru, renzoku engery dan, shunkanido, Taiyoken, Telepathy, Zanoken

Goku is the main character of the dragonball series. Goku was sent to earth as a baby to destroy the planet. But he hits his head as a baby and forgot everything he was supposed to do. Instead he becomes a pure good person who protects the planet earth and the universe from evil. He is a tremendous fighter and has the most ability of any of the z warriors. But he has been known to be soft sometimes.(He almost let freeza get away). He was able to transform into all the SSJ transformations. He marries chi chi, daughter of the Ox king and they have two sons Gohan and Goten.

Name: Gohan

Race: Human/Saiyan

Abilities: Fly, Kamehameha, Masenko, Oozaru, Renzoku Energy Dan, Zanzoken

The son of Goku, gohan also has tremendous fighting ability. He is Goku's first son and was trained by piccolo right after the battle with radditz. He respects piccolo not only as a fighter but as a friend. Gohan is one of the most powerful fighters in the dragonball series. He is the first saiyan to go SSJ2. He could have been the most powerful fighter but later in the series he starts studying more rather than fighting. He was able to go Mystic which let him be more powerful without going SSJ and that was when many people felt Gohan was the most powerful fighter in Dragonball Z.

Name: Vegeta

Race: Saiyan

Abilities: Big Bang Attack, Bukuiutsu,Fly, Final flash, Fusion, Planet Buster, Destructo Disk, Oozaru, Zanzoken

The prince of the saiyen planet Vegeta, he is one of the most powerful fighters in the dragonball series. At first he was one of freeza's henchmen when he was a very young boy. He came to planet earth so he can use the dragonballs and wish for immortality. But the z fighters would not let him do so and they fought and vegeta was not sucessful. Then he tried to use nameks dragonballs to wish for immortality but frieza was there and he joined sides with Krillen, Gohan, and Goku. But basically Vegeta lived for one thing and one thing only; to be more powerful than Goku. He has an obsession for getting more powerful than he really is. He was able to be more powerful than Goku several times, but Goku would always find ways to be one step ahead of Vegeta, that always made him angry.

Name: Future Trunks

Race: Human/Saiyan

Abilities: Fly, Burning attack, finish buster, fusion, Kamehameha,

Masenko, Renzoku energy dan, zanzoken

Future Trunks is the son of Vegeta and Bulma but he is from the normal timeline(goku was supposed to die). But unlike Chibi Trunks, Future Trunks did not start training for battle when he was about 13 years old (because just about everyone else including his father were dead). He was enraged with what the androids had done so he asked adult gohan to train him. He tried his best and admires Gohan like a big brother. But when they went to battle the androids Gohan was killed and Trunks went SSJ. Bulma told him to go back to the past and give Goku his heart medicine so that he can fight the androids. Trunks gives Goku the medicine but comes back to help with the androids and soon realizes that if the androids are destroyed they will still be alive in his worlds. But he becomes so powerful while in past that he goes back into his timeline and kills androids 17 and 18 along with Cell easily. He is one of the best fighters, and is more powerful than Chibi Trunks since he fought more than him and does not fool around.

Name: Chibi Trunks

Race: Saiyan/Human

Abilties: Fly, Burning attack, finish buster, fusion, Kamehameha,

Masenko, Renzoku energy dan, zanzoken

Chibi Trunks, not to be confused with Future Trunks, was born in a different timeline, when Goku was alive after he got his heart medicine. Chibi Trunks looks exactly like Future Trunks(Obviously!) but he was able to go Super saiyan at age 8 and Future Trunks went super saiya-jin at 13. But despite that he wont be as powerful as Future Trunks since he is not committed to fighting as much as him. He is close friends with Goten and they both fool around, but he is still a good young fighter.

Name: Goten

Race: Human/Saiyan

Abilities: Bukuiustsu, fusion, kamehameha, zanzoken

Goten is the second son of Goku and Chi Chi. He is good friends with trunks. Goten became the only saiyan ever to become SSJ without expirencing anger. He had a lot of potential but could never reach it since he spends more time fooling around with trunks and that he was living in a more peaceful time.He looks exactly like Goku when he was young in Dragonball

Name: Radditz

Race: Saiyan

Abilities: Fly, Zanzoken,

Raditz is the brother of Goku and son of Bardock. He was sent to earth and find out why Goku has not destroyed all living beings on earth. He finds out that Goku had forgotten his mission and is pure good. He kidnaps Gohan and fights Goku and Picollo and is deafeated.

nappa Name: Nappa

Race: Saiyan

Abilities: Fly, Bakuhatsuha, Saiko No Kogeki, Zanzoken

A survivor of the saiyan race, Nappa is a friend of vegeta and raditz and is one of frieza's hencmen along with them. He and Vegeta went to earth to and fought the z fighters. He has great strength but has not much of a brain. After losing to Goku Vegeta is angry and destroys Nappa.

Name: Brolli

Race: Saiyan

Abilities: Bio Ekisyushyu Kyodai Ka, Bukujutsu, Ki Barrier, SSJ, USSJ, Zanzoken

This powerful saiyan appeared only in movies 8, 10, and 11. Brolli is the original super saiyan. Even as a baby Brolli was very powerful, having a power level of 25,000 or so. As a baby though, Brolli has developed an big hatred for Goku because he and Goku were cribmates and Goku was contstantly crying making Brolli develop this anger. When Planet Vegeta was destroyed it was Brolli's power that kept him and his father alive. Years later, as Brolli turned into an adult, his father ordered him to terrorize the universe. But Brolli's father asks the z fighters to find the reason for his rage. Brolli is defeated by Goku when they battle, he comes back in movie 10 and 11 where he is defeated again.
