The boy in Kajika was up on brownie points and strength,
until he kills a fox with an enormous boulder. After killing
the fox, he takes the fox's tail and thus releases a spirit that
is now constantly at his side. When he killed the fox, a curse was
bestowed onto him making him weaker far more than he was before. To
break the curse, he must save the lives of 1000 people before the curse
can be broken. The actual show begins when the boy has saved 990 lives, 5
years after the "accident".....

Kajika is like a new manga done by Akira, the maker of Dragonball!! I don't know much info about it but I hear so far 1 season is complete.  Its only a manga right now.
