Saiyan Saga - The entire story of Dragonball Z starts 5 years after the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai. Goku, lives with his wife Chi-Chi and his son, Gohan on Mt. Paoz. It is that day when the most dangerous fighter the earth had yet seen, would land on the earth and wreak havoc... And that day, it was done. A long haired creature (Raditz) steps out of a small pod (A saiyan spacepod) chanting the name "Kakarrot." The alien, Raditz, soon meets up with the Green complexioned warrior, named Piccolo. Even Piccolo, the warrior that nearly killed Goku and his friends years ago, suddenly has an extreme fear of this warrior. He could feel that Raditz had one great Ki signature. Greatfully, Piccolo was spared when Raditz sensed another power in the distance. He was sure it had to be the power signature of the one and only Kakarrot. At the same point in time Goku and his son arrive at the Turtle Hermit's (Master Roshi) Home, where Goku reunites with everyone, and Gohan gets to meet some new friends. Suddenly in the middle of all the happiness, Raditz pops onto the island with a really rude attack to Krillin after he tries to show him off the island. "Kakarott" he addresses Goku, Goku not understanding gets a long explanation about his past, and the fact that he is a Saiyan Warrior sent from the planet Vegeta to distroy the earth. But because of a nasty bump on his head, he became a good person, no different from anyone else. On top of that it adds up to Raditz being Goku's blood brother. Raditz forcefully asks Goku to join him, but Goku timidly refused. In anger Raditz took Goku's son hostage. Raditz flew off with Gohan knowing that Goku would follow him. Piccolo meets up with Goku and they put their differences aside for the time being to take out the evil Saiya-jinn warrior. Raditz takes Gohan back to his spacepod and stored him there for the time being when he suddenly recieved a reading from his "Power Level Scouter" Incredibly it pointed to the location of his nephew Gohan. After a few minutes, Raditz felt a few powers heading his way, Goku and Piccolo they were. As Goku and Piccolo landed Raditz now knew it could'nt be possible that the boy could be so strong, as he examined his scouter and found it had no flaws. Piccolo and Goku take off their weighted training clothing and begin fighting the evil Saiyan. But he seemed unbeatable. The nearly sensless fight heated up as Goku and Piccolo continue to fail at every attempt to defeat Raditz. Suddenly in a desperation attempt, Goku lured Raditz his way as Piccolo charged for his infamous Makankosappo(Special Beam Cannon) and fired it just to see it only nearly hit Raditz. Raditz turned around to face Piccolo and in another crazy desperation Goku grabbed Raditz by the tail which is a Saiyan's "Weak Point" But knowing the mercilous Goku he lets Raditz go after Raditz tricked him with "Sweet" words and was attacked by the Evil Saiyan. Gohan hearing all the pain that his father was going through suddenly bursted out in an incredible energy surge that made him have the power to explode through the top of the spaceship. Everyone became speechless after the showing of power by Gohan. Gohan charges toward Raditz knocking him to the ground. He gets up just as goku gathers the strength to grab Raditz from behind. Piccolo built up his power and fired a Makankosappo toward them both, killing the both of them. Gohan cries his eyes out as Piccolo notes the power of Gohan and takes him to train in the middle of no-where. Piccolo takes Gohan to face his near cruel training. The first lesson: Survival, He'll be left there for months to learn to survive the harsh conditions away from home. Goku finds himself running on snake-way making his way toward King Kai's Planet to train. King Yemma let him keep his body because he was such a good man for sacrificing himself for the fate of the earth. Back on earth Gohan is going through the greuling pains of the "Middle of Nowhere" while he is being chased by a large dinosaur. He gets away by using his encredible hidden power and warps himself to the top of a towering mountain, but is too afraid to get down. That night he saw two apples fly down to him from no-where, he eats them up quickly as Piccolo watches from afar. He wakes up that next morning to a herd of Buffalo. As Krillin finally makes it to Roshi's Island, they are tailed by Chi-Chi and the Ox-king, Chi-chi faints as she learns the demise of Goku, and what has happened to her son. Later that night, Gohan looks toward the moon, it was'nt any normal moon, It was the Full Moon, Quite full at that. And as all saiyans do he transformed into a Giant Ape. He began to destroy everything as Piccolo remembered that the moon was the cause of the entire situation. So he blew it up. Gohan, steadily learns his way in the woods, as he is nearly killed by the Giant Croc, and is being chased by an angry Tiger... Soon he is picked up by a vulture and is dropped in the midst of a few mountains... We first meet Yamcha in DBZ at a baseball game, Yamcha is the star player and a great homerun hitter. A fight soon starts as he gets in on the action but is soon stopped by Krillin and tells him the excitement of the battle with Raditz and how he needs to get special training with Kami... He agrees and he and his companion Puar follows him... The night was young as Gohan was hiding in a cave mixing a special herb to heal a wound.. He falls asleep but soon wakes up to be in the presence of a giant dinosaur. He runs outside but decides to go back to get his sword... Gohan soon notices that the creature needed help. It had a spear in it's side that needed to be taken out. He gathered some strength and began to pull... Pull... Pull!!!... about 3 minutes passed and he finally managed to pull the spear out of the rather large Dinosaur. Soon he bandages the wound up with a leaf covered in the special healing formula that he used the past night... Soon he goes off to find some food for his new-found friend... He finds a tree full of apples and decides to go climbing, but falls off and lands on the side of a dangerous cliff... He gets out of that pardicament fairly easy as he is seen walking back to his Dinosaur friend... But something is'nt right, His friend was being attacked!!! It was another dinosaur. After a few moments gohan had, had enough and lunged towards the dinosaur which flicked him off with ease, he was knocked out and soon woke up to find his friend dead and gone. Gohan awakens excited the next day, ready to eat. He makes his way to a tree and kicks it to find a ton of fruits fall. Eating all of them, he sees the dinosaur that killed his friend. Mocking the dinosaur, he runs away giggling. Later he cuts off the dinosaurs tail. Then builds a fire and roasts the meat. Happily, Piccolo watched in the distance. Meanwhile, two saiyan space pods land on planet Arlia. Exiting the spacepods they are ready to fight. An alien later appears but the Saiyans kill them easily. Back on the planet Earth, Roshi wonders if Goku will make his way to King Kai's in time for the training, in hopes he will get back in time to fight their rivals. Goku is still on Snakeway and meets up with a Street Cleaner. After a small discussion the Street Cleaner agree's to give Goku a ride in the car so he can rest. Going back to Gohans situation he is running from a tiger. Not in danger gohan plays with him for awhile then goes to gather berries for his dinner. On Arlia a tournament is commensing, The champion of Arlia fights Nappa, but Nappa easily blows him completely up, then as a large group of guards tries to attack him... He kills them also! Soon they went back into their spacepods and blasted off towards earth. Back on the earth Piccolo watched Gohan who was looking at the moon; He suddenly turns into his Oozaru form AGAIN! and he begins to destroy everything; Piccolo then saves the day by blowing up the moon (yadda, yadda) when back to normal Piccolo descovers his tail as the problem and he pulls it off. Goku is steadily making his way on snakeway on the back of the Cleaner truck when it hits a bump and makes Goku fall off the edge of the path.. A little shook, Goku arose to find himself in the home for infinite losers. Later, a red ogre named Raz challenged goku to a contest. He stated that if goku can catch him, he will show him a path back to snake way. The contest goes on for a long while until goku fools Raz by attempting to eat a piece of King Yemma's fruit, and finally catches him. He soon makes his way to the path and leaves the Home for Infinite Losers back to snake way. Goku finally reached the top of the stairwell, while Yamcha, Tien Chouzu, Yajirobe, and Krillen are waiting to train. Goku reaches Temple where all of the people there want to 'have him for dinner' so to speak. But he soon is able to leave after a 'BIG' confrontation with Princess Snake! Gohan constructs a hand made boat so he could leave the wilderness and go home to be with his mother, but the boat was badly wrecked in a storm and he awoke on an island. Two orphans found him and took them back to their hide-out and he makes some new friends. Then, the children were taken away to foster homes and Gohan left for his home, but Piccolo stopped him and reminded him about his mission. Tien, Krillin, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha are training at Kami's tower. But they want more challenging and new training. Mr. Popo takes them to the Pendulum Room and their spirits travel back to Planet Vegeta and they find two evil saiyans. They are easily defeated and return. Then Kami gives them startling news. The saiyans coming to earth are twice as strong as the saiyans they battled! Goku finally reaches the end off snake way and lands on King Kai's small planet. But the planet has gravity that of 10 times Earth's. Goku's first challenge is to catch King Kai's pet monkey. This is so Goku gets used to the gravity. Goku next has to hit a giant grasshopper, Gregory, with a large, heavy mallet. After he does, King Kai teaches Goku the amazing "Kaio-Ken" and "Spirit Bomb" attacks. One day, King Kai tells Goku of the legend of the saiyans. He tells him that planet Vegeta had exploded and that only four saiyans survived. Vegeta, Nappa, Raditz and Goku! Goku completes his training and is wished back. He flies back across Snake Way to get to earth. Back on earth, the saiyans finally arrive. They head off to Gohan and Piccolo to learn where to find the dragonballs. The 2 Saiyans (Vegeta and Nappa) and find Earth's heroes. This is where Piccolo finally realizes his true race, a Namek!... Soon the Saiyans plant some ugly creatures that come out of the ground, called Saibamen. Soon the rest of the earths' warriors (Tien, Yamcha and Chiaotzu) finally arrive. Earths heroes then take on the Saibamen. Yamcha is sadly killed when one of the Saibamen kills him when one self-destructs. In anger, Krillin charges up to the utmost and fires a huge blast that destroys the entire bunch of the Saibamen. All in all, they wonder where the real hero is, Goku! Nappa states that its time to take a 'whack' at it and chooses to fight tien first. The fight rages as tien looks fairly sharp against the large saiyan warrior, but not enough. Chiaotzu tries to help Tien by self-destructing on Nappa's back... But Nappa Survives??!! Tienshin-han uses his last bit of energy up and shoots at Nappa but Nappa stays alive and Tienshinhan dies. Piccolo and Kuririn attack Nappa, Gohan is scared to fight after seeing what happened to the others. Meanwhile, after a long and brutal fight with nappa, Gohan enrages with anger and attacks Nappa, Nappa then gets angry and he launches a powerful blast at Gohan, but Piccolo blocks his way and he saves him but Piccolo dies, in this moment Kami-sama also dies (Kami and Piccolo were originally one, if one dies the other does too), and with Kami-sama the Dragonballs disappear, Gohan gets angry again and unleashes a Masenko blast a Nappa, Nappa tries to block but his hand was severly injured, Nappa once again gets angry, and Gohan, now without any power falls to the floor, tired. Nappa prepares to squash Gohan with his foot but finally Goku arrives and he saves Gohan. Goku gives his half of his last senzu bean to krillin and the other half to gohan. Goku tells tem to rest and go home while he finishes the job and they obey him. The fight begind between Nappa and Goku, Goku easily defeats Nappa and he breaks his ribs, Then Vegeta destroys him and says that he is a disturbance. The fight had just begun. Gokou and Vegeta go to another place to fight. Then the battle begins, Vegeta starts to win at the beginning of the fight but Goku uses his Triple Kaio-ken and begins to take down Vegeta, Vegeta then flies up in the air and says that he will destroy the earth and he charges up his Galick-gun attack and then he unleashes it at Goku, but Goku uses his Triple Kaio-ken and shoots a Kamehame-ha, none of the shots could dominate the other, but then Goku unleashes a Quatrouple Kaio-ken with a Kamehame-ha and he dominates Vegeta's Galick-gun attack and hits Vegeta up into the air. but vegeta has not been defeated yet and then he searches for the moon to transform into Oozaru (giant were monkey) but he doesn't find it for Piccolo had destroyed it many months before. Vegeta lands on the ground and says he doesn't need the moon to transform, and in that moment Gohan and Klilyn who are flying toward the Kame house turn around to go back and fight in the battle. Meanwhile Vegeta made an artificial moon and is already transforming into Oozaru and he starts to beat up Goku, Goku realizes the he could use the Tariou-ken to blind Vegeta (the solar flare in english), he uses it and Vegeta let's go of him, then Goku is preparing a Genki Dama, Meanwhile Vegeta is out of the shock and shoots a ray at Goku before he could finish and shoot the Genki Dama, in that moment Klilyn and Gohan arrive and they see Yajiorbe watching the fight with fear in him, then they make a plan to cut off Vegeta's tail, Yajiorbe cuts Vegeta's tail off whith the help of his sword, Gohan begins to shoot some Masenko blasts at Vegeta while Goku calls Krillin and he gives him the power of the Genki Dama so he could shoot it at Vegeta, Goku then tells Krillin not to waste the Genki Dama. Meanwhile Gohan is hurt very badly because of Vegeta but in that moment Krillin shoots the Genki Dama and it hits Vegeta, Vegeta falls to the ground severely injured. It looks like all has finished when suddenly Vegeta stands up and he hits Krillin and Gohan, at that moment Gohan's tail grows back, Vegeta sees this and prepares to cut off his tail when Yajirobe hits him with the sword in the back Vegeta then gets angry at this and he hits Yajirobe, Goku tells Gohan to look at the moon that Vegeta made, this is what Gohan did Vegeta then runs to gohan trying to cut his tail off but it's too late, Gohan had transformed into Oozaru and he starts to beat up Vegeta, finally Vegeta manages to cut his tail off, but Gohan falls on top of him before turning back into normal, Vegeta is seriously injured, Krillin grabs Yajirobe's sword, Vegeta calls his spaceship in which he arrived on earth, Vegeta starts to climb on but then Krillin gets next to him with the sword at his throat, Goku tells Krillin to let him stay alive so later Goku can fight him again, Kriilin obeys him and let's Vegeta leave on his spaceship and he is gone. This is not the end of the Saiyan Vegeta... |
