The "insider information" gathered by our guides and tour operators warned that this would not be like other protests where only a few rocks would be placed in the roadway. This time people with access to heavy earth movers and dump trucks were lending their support to the protest. Obviously the debris covering the roadway was done with heavy equipment. I'm sure it took at least another day to organize the labor and equipment to clear the roadways and make them passable again.
