These are the plains where the Nazca Lines are found. As we approached only the largest geometric shapes are visible because they are essentially straight lines. The vertical line looks like an oar that intersects with another straight line at a 90 degree angle. The Pan American Highway is visible traversing the plains at the top of the photo.
