Shortly after leaving the pier in front of the Paracas Hotel we passed the "Candelabra of the Andes". We call it a candelabra because of its shape. However some folks believe it might be a Jimson weed that may have been traded for its halucenogenic properties. They further speculate that the Jimson trade may have extended up the Pacific coast as far as North America.
