Seeing the Candelabra in person is a spectacular sight. Our captain repositioned the boat a few times so that people on the left and right side of the boat could get a good look and take photos. The Candelabra is 595 feet long and can be seen 12 miles out at sea. Nobody knows why it was made or what it might have meant to sailors at sea. Did it simply mark the port or was there some symbolic meaning?
