Out my window to
where I belong
Children jump rope
to a song
The joy and laughter
I'm a part
My window to my
world, just a start.
My friends and I
play all day
Everyone different
than yesterday
We go the zoo,
the circus too
Never leave the
house but never blue.
Buddy is my cat,
all black and white
Tweety is my parakeet,
small and light
Sometimes they
are eagles, others bears
But they never
leave my side or my wheel
chair.
I cannot walk that
is ok
Mom and dad take
me out, lots to play
We go the movies
and ball game a lot
The piano, I play,
I am not self taught.
My friends come
in to see me soon
We watch TV and
play games with clues
We laugh and play
and have fun
Mom sometimes make
sticky buns.
Soon to school I
will go
Going with a friend
who comes from Mexico
A bus will come
and take us, my mother said
My chair is green;
Julio's is red.
Tweety is chirping
as he sits on my head
Buddy is purring
besides me on the bed
My mother is baking
cookies for me
I will share them
with my friends at three.
I smile as I think
of my little friends
They are always
with me, I can depend
I am never alone,
always have company
Because, Buddy
and Tweety and I make three.
