Willie, I don't remember a lot of things but I recall the first time the TENNESSEANS sang, as if it were yesterday. It was a special time. You made me believe that I could sing. It was a time in my life that I cherish.

I can say, without a doubt, that I sang with the best tenor that ever put on a pair of pants. It was a great honor to have been a part of your musical life, but more important than that, is for you to be my friend.
